Hi, we’re Georgina and Anthony – travellers, outdoor adventurers, and lovers of all things wild.

Anthony is American, and I’m (Georgina) is from Scotland. Over the years, we’ve spent our time travelling between both places, falling in love with the wild landscapes, open roads, and the freedom of exploring new corners of the world. Most recently, we spent an unforgettable year road-tripping through New Zealand in our trusty Subaru, chasing the simplicity and thrill of outdoor life.

Now, we’re in the Scottish Highlands, in the tiny but beautiful village of Achiltibuie – where I grew up! With untouched coastlines, hill lochs and mountains on our doorstep, this is Scotland at its wildest and most breathtaking. And we want to help you experience it.

We created Roaming The Highlands to help fellow adventurers experience Scotland in a way that feels immersive, freeing, and unforgettable. Whether it’s planning the perfect road trip, finding the best hiking trails, or navigating the practicalities of travel, we’ve got you covered.

For us, the perfect weekend means packing up the car and heading off the beaten path—pitching our tent box in a quiet spot, paddling around sea lochs, or hiking up a mountain for sunrise. And of course, no adventure is complete without cooking outdoors—whether it’s a campfire meal or a hot cup of tea under the stars.
