Well hello and thank you for stopping by. I’m Georgina, a born Summer Isles local with a love for adventure, nature, and the magic of life on the edge of the rugged North West Scottish Highlands. I live in a little cottage by the sea with my husband, Anthony, who’s just as obsessed with exploring the great outdoors as I am.

Living on this wild coastline is a dream and we couldn’t ask for a better playground for our hobbies. Whether it’s climbing mountains, kayaking around archipelago beaches, wildlife spotting, camping in our roof tent or paddle boarding on hill lochs, every day feels fresh and different. Life moves at a slower, more laid back pace here, and honestly – we’re all about it.

Best of the Summer Isles is beyond the NC500.

We call the little village of Achiltibuie on the Coigach Peninsula home; a hidden gem that’s totally worth venturing off the usual NC500 route to explore. Tucked into a landscape of mountains and seemingly endless coastal views, it’s the kind of place that feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. Even the drive here, along a winding 15 mile single track road, is an adventure in itself. If you’re after some peace or you’re up for an epic day out, this lesser known corner of the Highlands truly is a unique place of natural beauty.
